Misan Oilfield 10MW Photovoltaic Project

Project Description: The 10MW photovoltaic project in the Misan Oilfield of Iraq is located within the Misan Oilfield. With an installed capacity of 10MW, it is invested by China National Offshore Oil Corporation Iraq Co., Ltd. and contracted by China Construction First Engineering Co., Ltd. for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction). The main purpose is to supply power for the oilfield's production and daily operations. This project is China National Offshore Oil Corporation's first overseas oilfield-related photovoltaic project and also the first new energy project in southern Iraq. Once completed, it will effectively optimize the energy structure of the oilfield and achieve green and low-carbon development. It is an important demonstration of green energy cooperation between China and Iraq.

Project Significance:

International Impact: Promote the upgrading of China-Iraq energy cooperation towards green and low-carbon, establish a "Belt and Road" demonstration project, and deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Enterprise Value: Beijing Baoshengtong provided Hitachi Energy transformers for the 10MW photovoltaic project in the Iraqi Misan Oilfield. This strengthened the cooperation with Hitachi Energy, successfully entered the new energy supporting market in the Middle East, accumulated overseas large-scale project experience, and enhanced the international market influence and industry competitiveness.
