North Karanpura 3×660MW Thermal Power Project

Project Description: This project is located in Jharkhand, India. It was invested and constructed by NTPC of India, with a total installed capacity of 3×660MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired units. It is a power plant at the minehead. The project adopts the water-saving technology of air cooling island (ACC), and the air cooling equipment is provided by Hua Air Conditioning. The project mainly supplies stable electricity to the eastern part of India and has achieved the commissioning and operation of the units. Key Features: Utilizing the ACC air cooling technology, the water consumption is only 1/3 of that of traditional wet cooling units, and the annual water savings are approximately 30.5 million cubic meters.
